I've had Cox internet for over 15 years and never had much issues until the last few weeks. Mainly VPN disconnects and remote desktop latency, and video game lockups (reported by my kids).

Can anyone else in this area offer any suggestions?

Well, it looks like you're in Oak Hills (since it's in your profile info haha). ATT Fiber is definitely available, and you need to switch to that like yesteryear

Rev fiber is great if it’s available in your neighborhood. Support is local, which is great, too.

Att just became available on my street. Current have rev and am wondering if I would regret switching for the lower price.

This is not necessarily caused by your Cox internet.

Fiber is still better though.

Thanks for the responses.

Rev is not available where I live.

Glancing over AT&T fiber options and it looks like their hardware wants to set up their own WiFi network for me.

Anyone using their own WiFi with AT&T's gateway?
