Any recommendations for Xbox games this year for an 11-year-old boy? He likes cars, planes, fighting games and some RPG‘s.

Fortnite covers all of those bases plus some.

Game Pass sounds like the ticket. Especially if he REALLY likes planes and would be into Flight Simulator. Or just buy flight simulator but that seems like a gamble.

Thanks. We have flight simulator and he likes it but he’s been playing Forza the most. Gamepass might be the way to go it seems.

Lots of Forza games on Game Pass. Plus he'll get the new Flight Simulator release each time they come out with one, assuming you keep it going.

If he likes Forza I would suggest WRC, Formula 1 ’24, or Asseto Coursa.
Gamepass is also a good recommendation. You could also buy him a Xbox gift card of whatever denomination which would allow him to pick a few games that are on sale right now.
Just thinking slightly outside of the box he may also like a new controller (there are special controllers made for fighting games), headset, or gaming chair.

Call of duty. Get him into some toxic search and destroy lobbies and let him get that life experience under his belt. It's a rite of passage.
