Anybody have any experience on this wildlife management area? I scouted it recently and saw some deer sign but just curious if anyone on this board has prior experience.

Check for ticks after walking it. The prairie side would always leave me full of them. Never had any luck deer hunting, but did shoot a few squirrels.

It's a small tract mosty grassy pine savannah not much deer habitat. It gets a lot of multi use including small game hunters, trail walkers and dogs are allowed so the bow hunting only is very difficult with so much foot traffic

The only time I’ve ever gotten ticks on me was the first and only time I went to Lake Ramsey to check the place out and do a little scouting. Been to almost every other WMA in SELA and never had a tick on me anywhere else

my buddy down the street has does in his back yard frequently. I pass the parking lot every afternoon and it usually ranges from 1-3 vehicles parked there. Buddy who hunted it for a year never killed anything.
