Gamers Nexus brutal takedown of NZXT's PC by subscription service

The video is a bit over an hour long. Below is the description.
He has banned them from advertising on GN and canceled NZXT's 4th quarter ads to the tune of $23K in their own pockets.
I skipped around a good bit but at one point, he has a lawyer review their contract, and he crushes all of their ad partners for false advertising.
I'll be interested in the fallout, if there is any.

No fallout, people love having a monthly payment instead of a steep upfront cost. It is not a good deal but I can see people rolling with this in order to see if they really want to invest their money into gaming PC and I can also see people being fine with staying on a monthly payment even though you could build an entirely better PC with what you would pay over 12 months.

Have you seen the video?
Are you fine with things like...
When you return it they can do anything they want with your data? It belongs to them. Images, videos, tax returns, etc...
They are not responsible for any error with regard to product information or specs and that can all change without notice. If you even power the system on before you figure it out then you are SOL.
Price increases at any time?
If they "accidentally" overcharge you, and you don't notify them in writing in 60 days then you accept the charge?
You agree to waive damages if the product catches on fire and burns your house down or kills someone.

Nope, didn't want to watch an hour video narrated by a neckbeard. I went to their website and priced it out. It's an outrageous deal since you are paying $4k over two years for entry-to-mid Gaming PC but people want instant gratification.

Do you think any of that will hold up in court? If anything this sounds like a class-action lawsuit waiting to happen especially if they hold data like is linked in any way to health records.

It doesn't matter if this will hold up in court. Short term, this is very detrimental to the customer, whom presumably because they are "renting" a gaming pc, probably doesn't have the resources to fight the terms. A class action suit would take many customers complaining and a law team to take on the company's terms. It could take years to be settled and the customers wouldn't see much.
I would like the "fall out" to be NZXT come up with reasonable terms and a way to help the gaming community while also turning a profit for themselves. Not look to maximize profit at the determent to the customer.

The PC gaming community would never befoul themselves by “renting” a PC. This program is set up for those that are PC-curious.

Can you think of a better way to “dip your toes” in the PC gaming pool than renting a rig for a couple of months?

There’s likely a few reasons for this, consider the type of customer that would be open to “renting” a PC. This looks like a high-risk, low reward scenario for NZXT, I can see both sides to this argument over contract details but I don’t think it is far off from other rental contracts.

A couple thoughts I had:
I feel like if you put your tax returns or pii on a rental pc, they should be required to at least protect that, but I’m also not a dumbass and wouldn’t put that stuff on a pc I rented or borrowed. As for the other stuff, isn’t that pretty standard procedure? See the hunter Biden laptop for a similar situation. If you put videos of yourself smoking crack and banging hookers on there and forgot to take it off, that’s on you. There’s a little bit of cya in there as well in case some freak puts cp on there.
60 days is 2 months which to me seems like plenty of time to get with them about an overcharge.
Are they building the parts that go into the pc themselves or are they just putting them together? How much of a risk is there that it would burn the house down? Do you have a problem with gun manufacturers being immune to lawsuits when a mass shooter uses their gun? I don’t know if they should be liable if you are plugging the rental pc up next to a can of gasoline. I’d suspect it would be pretty standard in an agreement for a service like this.
