I was reading today an article that was explaining that fox had the rights to the BCS game until espn takes over in 2010. ESPN/ABC have the rights to the rose bowl. Is this part of the reason espn/abc try to discredit the bcs system and push for usc all the time? so people will watch them increase their ratings generate more money when in reality it is a shite rose bowl every year...

That and ol'herby and coach Carroll are sleeping together. I found it funny when they were proud that they text and call each other about the game. Sounds like two little girls to me. I will say the commercial was funny.

The Walt Disney Company is out of Anaheim/Los Angeles. Disney owns ESPN. USC is in Los Angeles. Put it together people!!

No. ESPN pushes no team.

People that say otherwise just suck at life.

Considering all the tv deals will be with ESPN/ABC by then, maybe a playoff will be easier to put together.

Yeah, and there will be a total monopoly on all games, which means they can show us what they want when they want and tell us who's good and who's not. Their influence would be scary. It already is.

So USC goes 12-1 regular season with a loss to a Top 25 team that wins a bowl game on the road.

And yet the MNC is between two teams with the same record, one of whom loses at home to a team no one respected and the other loses on a neutral field.

But ESPN pushes USC.

Didn't ESPN just sign a deal with the SEC? Sweet! That means from now on I get to bitch that ESPN LOVES the SEC, and that's why they are so good, not because they have quality teams!

I don't know why it's so hard for y'all to acknowledge that good teams exist outside of the SEC. Like it or not, SC has a really, really good program and will hopefully continue to have one for years to come. There's no conspiracy. Being in L.A. helps for sure but that's counterbalanced with being on the west coast.
