Every game I can remember has been a nail biter and Oregon has gotten some lucky bounces. They’ve been great games.

Great game last night and wish I could’ve made it out there

Funny. There’s actually lot of cultural ties between the PNW and the upper Midwest.

My wife and I had our family migrate west out of the upper Midwest.

Definitely

This is their new Big10 rival like the Huskies.

You're spot-on.

There's just a different vibe compared to when Oregon plays Ohio State and Michigan.

The Last two Rose Bowls against Wisconsin have been great games

Call me old fashioned, but a rivalry has to have an element of you don’t want to lose because your coworkers are gonna talk about it for a year at the office.

I can’t imagine there are many Oregon grads in Chicago or Milwaukee or Wisconsin grads in Portland or Seattle.

Yeah, they’re two memorable games regardless of the stakes

I don’t work with people just from the PNW. Is this that uncommon?

If you are in AL, yes.

They don’t consider anything a rivalry unless relatives are involved.

I think of the 4 new additions to the B1G a Wisconsin Oregon rivalry is the one that fits the best.
Rose Bowl history. Some Bb tourney history. Good time fan bases.

I can see it more than USC or UCLA or Wash or Maryland or Rutgers or Purdue or Indiana for sure.

I get the vibe

Maybe….and you cite the most recent games but do you remember Terrell Fletcher making Joey Harrington cry as Michael Bennett ran for three miles against Oregon? That was a fun one.

There could be some organic stuff in an Oregon/Wisconsin rivalry but an inorganic one that the media might try to shove down our asses would be Wisconsin/Washington in the battle of “who is the real UW.”

If B1G expansion happened about 55 years earlier, UCLA vs. Indiana in men’s basketball would have been a sensational rivalry.
