Technically if a candidate doesn't get > 50% it goes to the second round of the ranked choice voting which will take place later this month.

Quit forcing bad mojo on us. This race can be called all they want, but if he does not get 50% of the vote with 17k possible ballots to be counted by the 20th, rank choice will kick in. I got my hopes up last time, and we got stuck with Murkowski again due to rank choice voting.
