Nope, they now have the communal table you're referring to with a set menu, and separte private tables with an ala carte menu, across the hall.

So you were not that impressed?
I stayed there five or so years ago and did the dinner there and was under whelmed. I just remember how it was built up to be a big time romantic fine dining expierence and I giggle at the service and thought the food was pretty bland. They served what they called a corn and crab bisque that I could swear was canned cream corn.
I did enjoy my much lower end meals at Biscuits and Blues and Pearl St. Pasta.
