Kirk Herbstriet’s Dog, Ben dies of Cancer

Kirk would bring Ben to all the sets this year and with gameday in Baton Rouge it will be sad to be missing his presence. RIP to a good boy, and may Baton Rouge show him all the love this weekend

That’s really sad. He’s not suffering anymore. I’m sure Kirk is taking it very rough.. we don’t deserve a dogs love and loyalty.

Always sad to loose a companion! Animals become part of your family, Remember, all dogs go to heaven,, Hang in there Kirk.

No doubt I had an English bulldog for 13 years and had to put her down last spring. One of the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do

50 years old and am taking care of my first dog ever. She was abandoned in our neighborhood and wouldn't leave our house. 6 months later I realize why people become so attached to their dogs.

Damn, I woulda been taking the guy with me on a farewell tour too. It's painful, but so enriching. I feel bad for the guy.
