Very excited to see the new faces with Jonson, Williams, Morrow and a healthy Smith (she was playing A+ ball when she tore acl last year) along with the Frosh Richards!
7th ranked LSU face EKU- Colonels coming off a 22-12 year and took TN into Q4 last year present a solid first game!

I have followed women's basketball since I was at LSU in the days when Pokey was a player and they were lucky to draw 1000 most nights and by and large nobody really cared. It is so crazy to think about how popular this program has become.
Same can be said for gymnastics.

I'm right there with you, in that I've been a fan of the program since 1995, when they had Elaine Powell, Pietra Gay and Toni Gross. To see where the program has gone over the years has been more than I could have ever hoped for, and there are times I STILL have to pinch myself. I wish coach Gunter could've seen this. To think we've sold out season tickets two yeas in a row, is just phenomenal! I no longer live in Baton Rouge, so I can't buy season tickets like I used to, but I don't miss any games that are on TV.
Tonight is the start of a new era, in terms of style of play. This team is going to run, play tenacious perimeter defense, and be unstoppable offensively.

The home slate leaves a lot to be desired. Hard to get excited about all these cupcakes on the schedule. Look forward to Stanford game next month.
