Best town to go look at lights with a 1 year old? Would prefer driving distance and would like to make this a 4 day ordeal. Have looked at Branson, but having second thoughts on that. Any thoughts travel board?

Gulfport Miss one is really neat and you can stroll the kid around
We did it last year for the first time and was highly impressed, we went right after Xmas before New Years and hardly any crowd at that time
And it's much closer then driving that far with a one year old

Chattanooga. Rock City has a wonderful Christmas light display.
There's plenty of touristy things in that town to fill a 4 day trip.

I hadn’t thought about Chattanooga. That looks great.

Yep, you'd also have Ruby Falls, the Incline Railway, the Chattanooga Choo-choo, the aquarium, etc.

A great backroads drive on the way up is the road that follows Little River Gorge in Fort Payne, Alabama. (Home of the band Alabama)

Lot's of pulloff's and waterfalls. Closest scenery to the Smoky's without having to drive another 4 hours.

Nooga is great weekend getaway spot. Especially for kids.

We have a few other neighborhood light places to check out too in Nooga. A few people do lights to music on private homes. There is a neat little small circle neighborhood that does static lights in east ridge.

They shut down whoville this year though out in Hixson. I will try to remember to build a list for you this week.

Smokies stadium up at the Sevierville exit does a big lights to music display. Bristol Motorspeedway has a massive display too and you get to drive on the drag strip and half the racetrack banking.
