If this is true, we may have another Chad Jones on our hands, too slow to play safety and should be moved to OLB. He sure seemed to play faster than that in the all star game. ( I know some of you still think CJ can play safety. In my opinion, he is too slow and could be a dominant OLB.)

i really think he is faster then that from what i have seen. 4.57 is plenty fast enough but i think he is closer to 4.5

He's probably faster than that. He's a ballhawk and he'll knock the shite out of other teams.

He ran that at one combine, but he is much faster than that. Before this year, he ran a 4.38.

no guys, he doesnt run the 4.37 that Taylor Mays runs, so obviously he has no chance at safety

This guy also said Loston was a thug. Maybe he played against him once and got his arse knocked out. Just a thought. You're on your 2nd strike. Your third and I won't even pay attention to what you post at all.

I guess I think 4.57 is too slow to play safety because every safety we have had start for us since the early 2000's worth a shite ran no less than a 4.5. Laron, 4.4;Daniels 4.5; coleman 4.5; and Steltz, 4.5. On the other hand the shitty ones who always seem top be a step behind or a step away from making the hit McCray 4.59; Curtis 4.6; Chad Jones 4.5? etc. The safeties slower than that don't even see the feild i.e.Francois, Clemens and others. Yes, 4.5+ is too fricking slow to play safety at LSU. Darry ran a 4.53 coming out. could he have played safety if he hadn't bulked up. No, too slow, but a hell of a quick LB before the repeated injuries.

I am pretty positive that Chad Jones runs below a 4.5 40. I don't think it is even questioned.

Craig Loston is the epitome of the headhunting, fear inspiring, all over the field Safety. I'm not saying that I necessarily want him playing lock down man-to-man against Percy Harvin every play, but the man can certainly wreck shop at the Safety position.
