It is incredibly frustrating. We finally get a player who makes things easier for everyone, and we get Charlie Brown'd after 1 game

Obviously Zion, BI, CJ can adjust like they have for the last couple of years and keep us from falling apart. But, they once again will be forced out of their optimal roles and will have to try to build continuity later in the season.

It's an even bigger loss for a rookie like Missi. Playing off of DJ allowed him to make a big impact by just doing what he does well.

I think the City of New Orleans sold its soul for that Super Bowl title, in particular the 12-man penalty on the Vikings in 2009. Only explanation for years of bad luck and injuries.

I hope DJM has a speedy recovery. But man, I couldn't help laughing. 3-6 weeks isn't a long time, but I really wanted to see him with the full squad.

This is laughable at this point. This would be a great team if all were healthy but they are dropping like nine pins

Its real early guys. We are completely decimated with injuries and still 3-6. Meanwhile a team like the Bucks is relatively healthy (other than Middleton) and are 1-6 in a much weaker easten conference. We need to stay around .500, even a game or two under is ok, until everyone gets back and we’ll be ok.

There also positives from this situation as well. We have seen excellent growth from guys like Hawkins, Missi and Boston. This will pay dividends in tight really important games down the stretch.

Well if we get healthy after the 1st third of the season, gel in the 2nd third of the season, and start a run in the 3rd third of the season, we will be getting hot at the right time.

I will keep pulling up this post each month. It's funny it was just DM at that time, now see where we are.

You were a bit optimistic. By early
November we were a G league team.
