“I wasn’t disappointed with Andre’s decision,” Shepard claimed. “Right after he made his announcement he came over to me and talked to me about it. I know he still plans on talking to coach Miles and I believe we are still in it for him. It is not over yet.”
Any chance we still get him?

I thought he was going FL from the beginning. And still think he is. I was just wondering if something was out there that I hadn't heard and there still was a chance. Or is this a done deal?

At least it seems he still willing to listen. All you can hope is that Miles gives it his best shot and it sounds like he's doing so. If he stays committed to Florida then so be it. You can't get them all.

i think he's just blowing smoke up both their asses in an effort not to hurt anyone's feelings.. i saw the way his family reacted when he chose fla. last night and i don't think the kid waivers. can't say i blame him with the advantages of playing for the state schhol and meyer's offense

maybe Shep can use the guilt factor with debose to sway him. but he is still UF bound

If he's still open to hear what LSU's got to say, you can never say he's a lock. Michael Ford is a "lock". He made up his mind early and never wanted to look around again. These are teenagers, if they are interested enough to at least hear what other schools have to say then there is still a chance. Not a good one, obviously, to pull him out of FLA, but it could happen

with his family surrounding him last night while he made his announcement, you know they had to be a factor in his decision. What makes me wonder if he just did it to make his mom and dad happy.

I think family has screwed LSU with both Debose and Campbell!! LSU and Miles have done a great job--just hope these kid's families regret it later!!

i was thinking that maybe him being on the same team as shep at the ua game would maybe make him want to come to lsu more but i guess thats what i get for thinking
