He looked real disappointed last night after Debose announced. You could tell by the way Debose was acting all night he was going to Florida, I think he felt real bad having to announce Florida with his friend RS there. Gotta do what is best for you and not listen to other recruits. This is why you should never listen to what a recruit promises in recruiting. They are as clueless as everyone else.

Gotta love his effort though, can't wait to see this guy play next year.

They should have had a split screen with him and Debose during the declaration

Well RS obviously was having a lot of fun up until that moment, then it just looked like someone stuck a stake in his heart. They were pretty close through the entire process, you could tell Debose up until the announcement was showing worried expressions.

Shut the F up...he doesn't talk crap he likes to have fun. If you notice people love being around him. Even the coaches were there joking with him. He'll be one of the best representatives of LSU we've had in a while.

I couldn't help but notice that I didn't see Debose and Shep meet up and congratulate each other after Shep through him a 92-yard TD pass. Shep was being congratulated by everyone else, and so was Debose, but I never saw them meet on TV. Doesn't mean it didn't happen, but I thought it was odd that the "attached at the hip" guys who had become good friends weren't ecstatic after having been able to connect like that on national TV.

It gave me the feeling that Shep had been told by Debose just prior to the game that he was going to UF.

I also think this because Shep said "this guy is gonna commit to LSU" during the game on TV with Debose standing right there. It almost seemed like he was ribbing him a little bit, knowing that he was going to UF.

I know it sounds weird, that's just the feeling I got.

It is not weird. He said it twice. I think he knew and was trying to change Debose's mind. Ahhh, to no avail though.... Gotta go where Moma can come to the games often. I just hope that RR is thinking the same way.

your right actually. i picked the same thing up. matter of fact they left the audio on Shep after they rolled over to another camera and you can hear Shep say, I told him i was gonne get him!, he better commit to LSU now! he was laying around but its funny. Go watch the replay and you will hear it.

actually, after the score and after they wewre mobbed by their team mates on the sideline. Shep went with Debose to crowd i believe infront of Debose's family. Shep was yellin "yeah we gettin it huh..we gettin it" while beatin on his chest. Debose threw the ball into the stands and they ran back together to the sideline.

I dont know what happened between Debose and the tigers.

I noticed this as well.

I couldn't agree more.

I didn't think there was a shot in hell we would lose Debose after him and Shepp hooked up for the 90+ touchdown. I figured he could easily see the unrivaled duo those two would be on the same field, guess not.

I definitely understand why Shepp felt de-moralized. He had stood up for, pleaded to, and vouched that Debose was a tiger....the whole time Debose certainly didn't argue. Then Debose goes and declares as a Gator.

Back to the point, I am glad to hear this and not suprised at all. The kid maybe the best thing ever to happen to LSU if he develops his talent to the game on the field. If you can't see it now, you never will: Shepp has more heart and put's forth more effort than possibly any Tiger and he hasn't even put on the P&G. Not to mention he laid it all on the line to recruit for us this past year. How can any self-respecting tiger fan hold anything against him?

Good Luck Shepp. We appreciate everything you have and will do for this program.
