I’m tired of seeing old LSU fans complaining about the student section and admin playing set it off. TS is the hardest place to play because of the energy the students bring. It is HAUNTED AND IT IS LOUD!

I don't really have an opinion on set it off, but Tiger Stadium was haunted and loud and full of energy before the students started rapping.

Rapping looks fun but it certainly isn’t loud. Like the pon-pon phenomenon. Placing them on seats lowered the decibels dramatically.

The old people complaining are the ones that I saw with "frick Tulane" stickers in Tiger Stadium when I was a kid in the 80s.

Same ones who were chanting "Assholes, Assholes" during the Tiger Rag that got it banned back in the late 80s.

Had a middle aged lady get mad at my group during the UCLA game for yelling and swearing

She left before the 2nd quarter

Maybe don't go to an LSU game if you don't wanna hear swearing and yelling

I beg to differ. In my early years at LSU (late 50s and early 60s), the South End Zone section of Tiger Stadium (which completed the transition from a horseshoe to a bowl) was often referred to as the Library. It seems that in the early 50s, the BOS was considering a new library but decided instead to use the money for the South End Zone section. Hence, its nickname for a time.

Don't care about the rapping, Not my thing but it's fine, whatever. STTDB doesn't bother me, we were profane and obnoxious when I was a student too.. But the loud bass is uncomfortable to sometimes downright painful.

This game was epic.. but come on now … be honest…. The only people in their seats previous two games after half time were those cranky old guys and gals.. previous game students did not show up in frat section until after start of game and student section looked like practicing for a Halloween ghost town before half time..
Sure some old cranky people.. and yes lots of fair weather fans and students..

I have not experienced this However if the gizers bother you, confront them. Invite them to step to Sonic. Be the man, don't bristle behind a key board. Kick day arse!
