But he is NOT it for football games. Hoping Dan Borne can get well soon. Already miss his voice in Tiger Stadium.

Franques is LSU through and through, but he is more suited for baseball.
We’ve been spoiled with Borne’s energy and approach for so long that it has become the bar. Franques just isn’t the guy for football.
Time to try somebody else out.

I was hoping they would allow him to call strictly baseball games after Hawthorne retired. He does great radio for baseball.
