Lee hung in there as best as he could through a brutal SEC stretch while playing without a defense.
There is a huge difference between preparing to play one bowl game and standing up to an SEC schedule week in and week out.
I think JJ is exciting and brings an element that Lee doesn't with his running ability, but to say that Lee can't improve and challenge him for the starting spot is just premature.
What is difficult to understand about that?

like when LSU played flynn for the last peach bowl, and he tore it up.
then he sits for a year behind JR, then comes in and starts in 07, and helps win a championship.
