I'm headed to Boston the week of Halloween. I've already been in contact with Abita who gave me a lot of really great suggestions. Not going to Salem. I'm posting anyways, because I've been to Boston a good bit, but I want to do some things I've never done. Maybe some stuff less touristy. I'm open to any and all of everyones favorite suggestions. Anything I can reach by public transportation and walking. I also posted about restaurant suggestions in the F&B board if anyone has anything for that! TIA

Responded on the food and drink board thread about restaurants. But for non-food options, have you looked at the Bruins schedule while you’re in town?

any tips for cheaper Bruins tickets? We are looking at going to a game the weekend after thanksgiving and the cheapest tickets are $200 each before fees. I'd love to go to a game but I'm not paying $500 for two tickets.

Unfortunately, no. Bruins tickets are crazy expensive. It’s why we never go.

Not trying to highjack his thread but are there any good spots to watch the LSU Arkansas game this weekend?

I know Causeway is the new LSU alumni bar, so that would be the best place to go.

Full disclosure: I haven’t been to an alumni bar game since it was at the Baseball Tavern (RIP) so I can’t vouch for how great the atmosphere is.

But if I was in Boston looking for a place to watch the game, that’s where I’d go.

That’s a shame to hear. The baseball tavern used to be awesome.
