Didn't JBE ask trump to stay away from La after one of the Lake Charles storms until they could complete several days of rescue ops?
This really is one of those times where the we should expect the Governor to address the people on TV and let them know for search and rescue operations the president has been asked to support from DC and as soon as things are stable, we will welcome a visit from the White House to support those affected. Political party status of any of the politicians shouldn't matter at this moment.

Yeah for about 4 hours. Saw some reports from teams on the ground. They had to stop any air drop and rescues during that time.
