Was curious if anyone has played this track semi-recently. I’m in that area occasionally and it seems like it was pretty nice at one time, but I can’t find any recent review or accounts and that have no social media presence.

I played it a few months ago and it was in great shape. One of my favorite courses to play up here in NELA.

They have a tournament starting today and play through Saturday afternoon, so Sunday is the soonest you will be able to get out there. May have to make the 40 minute trek to Monroe.

I played it Thursday. It is not in great shape. The greens and fairways are fine, so I would definitely go play it. It is still a fun track. But the overall feel of the place is it is getting run down. There are irrigation leaks on damn near every hole. What bunkers are left are not in the best shape and it just generally has an appearance of neglect in all areas (greens and fairways not withstanding).

Yea me too. I haven't played it in several months and was told it had gotten real shitty. That wasn't the case. But it is trending that way and will be if they don't start throwing some money and effort at it.

Seemed to go a little down hill when they filled in all of the fairway bunkers. They built a new clubhouse and have on site rooms to stay in, maybe they should have stuck with a decent clubhouse and put the rest of the $$$ into the course
