What's left after the fire? Have you looked into what happened? I think the Jasper Park Lodge (Fairmont property?) was the best place up there but I don't know if it survived.

I stayed in a cabin in the Alpine village resort. Nice and secluded - just outside of town but you feel like you're out in nature. It sits on the bank of the river so it was nice to unwind after a busy day on the deck chairs watching the sun set. A bit rustic but pretty cheap from what I remember.

Not sure what damage the fire did.

You are gonna end up staying in lake Louise or Banff. We went this month and most places to stay in Jasper burned. Fairmont in Lake Louise is expensive but worth it for a couple of nights
