So what are the standing for the SEC this year vs. the other conferences?

The PAC-10 already won it. They went 5-0. The SEC is 5-1 so far.

SEC is 5-1 w/ two teams left - Bama & UF. If we go 7-1, that is better than 5-0 IMO. SEC has some nice wins - Vandy, Ole Mrs, Uky, LSU were healthy wins by all underdogs.

Well, it may be but ESPN is doing the Bowl Challenge Cup and they are doing it by winning percentage.

If Troy would have beaten Southern Miss, the Sun Belt would be 2-0 (100%). ESPN could have crowned them the champions. Makes a lot of sense.

ESPN says that a conference must have played a minimum of 3 games.
