lets assume that CS and KW will return for their senior yr. how will the rest of RM's career at LSU go?

we have a lot of talent coming in at RB.

he is not good enough to be a starter or even get significant carries. its too late to move him to WR, especially with the talent we have coming in.

He's going to break out in the Spring Game as always, getting our hopes up for his future. But disappoint next season after he's underused because he's not as talented as CS or KW to be a every down back like they are.

It would be good to RS the incoming frosh and have a murphy/ford tandem in 2010

in two years, he will be our number one back on the depth chart. the next harvey williams in my opinion.

Murphy has been way overrated. He had not shown anything since day one. He is too tentative hitting the hole and runs East-West more than North-South. Buried on the depth chart, in my opinion which is a good thing.

Why? He's pretty shifty ... if we could get him the ball beyond the line of scrimmage, could he not be a solid contributor?

Frankly, same with Trindon Holliday ... do we have a well-defined slot receiver?

i believe murph and ridley would be the perfect 1,2 punch at rb in 2010.

Murphy has not looked good at all. Tentative in the hole and always trying to run outside. I would have loved to see ridley get a few carries.

I like Murphy, and I'm not saying I want this to happen, but I think he'd be a good candidate for transferring. I think Ridley will be ahead of him next year going into the fall, and probably a true freshman. Again, not saying I want him to, just that he's one that could probably benefit from it.

Too hesitant? Have you watched KW? It looks like he takes baby steps all the time. He just doesn't get the carries between the tackles. Murphy is great in space

One things for sure, he doesn't play very well when he has the chance. Nothing against him personally, he's a good kid and from Rayville, but he does not make plays when given the chance. Maybe a transfer along with Williams and S. Francois?
