The fake punt was classless, but didn't hurt my feelings at all.

Actually, it pissed me off,

there now..don't you feel better now that you told the truth?

Were I Johnson, I would have instructed my DE's to hit Jefferson every single play, penalty or not.

you mean like the chop blocks your off line was 'coached' to do?

Not intentionally dirty or deliberately injuring him,

there now..don't you feel better now that you're finally telling the truth?

However, I can be just as classless as the next guy when it's time.

There are a lot of things that piss me off in a football game. Calling a fake punt on our own 20 yard line pissed me off. Losing 38-3 pissed me off. Having the fumble return for TD called back pissed me off. Having a fake punt go for a first down, when we needed the ball, pissed me off.

Can you comprehend this?

It's a completely different issue from whether it is right or sportsmanlike or not. I don't think it's good sportsmanship, but I can't control what someone else does. It's football, not ballet. If the opposing coach is trying to score tossing 60 yard bombs late in the 4th up 35 points, its up to me to make him rethink in whatever way I can control. Punishing the QB is the only thing I can do, and if it's all I've got, then I'll use it to the max.

Sorry if you cannot grap that fact.

And BTW, you need to study up on football rules. Cut blocks are perfectly legal and used at every level by every team. Even saw LSU use a few cuts last night. Cut blocking is what our OL is taught. Occasionally 2 OL get on the same guy and it can result in a chop. Chop blocks are not legal. Completely different technique.

But how would you know, you can't call a cut on NCAA 2009.

Anyway, to the rest of you. Truly great game. Your penetration on D is what it takes to stop an option. You did it consistently well all game. Some whuppin's just hurt, and some you can grow from. This is one we can grow from. All those FR and SO's we had on the field last night will be better for the experience, no matter how much it PISSED ME OFF.
