Well here's the thing, if the situation was reversed, we would be the ones screaming foul on that play. I choose to believe it was more about clock management/ball control then some big "hit you when you're down" call. When you are close to a win, you want to do everything possible to make absolutely sure you stay on top till the time runs out.

I don't care if some see it as classless. Fact is the talent as been here all along to put up performances like that. I don't care who or what we lost last year. Recruiting takes care of that problem and we haven't done too bad in that area. Given the fact Miles record here hasn't been bad either we all figured out and suspected all along the problems this team has had.

Miles is not stupid he knows what has happened this year and why. He knows the disappointment that has been felt. This game was for a lot of things and reasons. This team has not played up to full potential except SOMEWHAT in one game to lose it at the end. This was to show that this team could play strong and close out a full game.

This was to show that he still has it and can lead this team. He showed that the players still believed in him and what he is doing. For a team to self destruct at the end of the season and then come out and finish strong in the last game showed he had them prepared. Miles and Crowton thought up a well working game plan on the O and did what they wanted with it. Jordan Jefferson as a true freshman shined with all eyes on him. This team flowed last night for once.

I can't say I would or could be mad at anything concerning this game. Other than the fact it took the last game to show who we were. No one gave us a shot. Everyone had us counted out, over 75% of the nation had GT blowing us away. The way we controlled the game like we did speaks volumes. I would have faked too late in the game if I could and if nothing else take more off the clock.

No we didn't score but we did eat up more clock and keep their offense off the field. Oh and to who said

Were I Johnson, I would have instructed my DE's to hit Jefferson every single play, penalty or not. Not intentionally dirty or deliberately injuring him, just hit him hard every play he's in.

I do believe Jefferson took a few late hits last night. I remember one hit he took during one play that took his top off. And I would agree with it too. The clean hits that is. That's the nature of the game. I would want our guys to hit as many as possible hard all night. As long as it was clean and all. So who am I to get mad about a hard hit lol.
