...Not by ours. They fake punted when they were inside their own 30 yard line. LSU put the game out of reach after their fake punt failed. If they want to be mad about a fake punt, that's the one they should be steamed about.

The only reason Miles elected to go with LSU's fake punt is because he could. Plus, they probably practiced it, and he wanted to reward his players by letting them execute it. It was a cool play, and it worked. Had to be pretty rewarding for the coaches and the players. Tech needs to be mad at their own stupid coaching staff, and get over themselves.

again, Ga Tech holds the record for the highest scoring game in history, and biggest blow out against a team you never heard of 222-0 so F them! who cares if it was a million years ago. Pretty sure around the 100 point mark everything else could be considered running it up.

Theirs was ridiculous. Ours was unnecessary. We won. I'll go with the rude victory.

They should have engineered a better set of plays on offense and defense

Definitely. Probably one of the worst coaching decisions I've ever seen in a bowl game. Not to mention it was a freaking d lineman that ran the ball. The guy was slow as molasses.

I honestly thought Johnson's coaching ability would have somewhat impressed me, but their coaching just flat out sucked arse.

I feel that if you the play's there, run it. When those trick plays work as often as they seem to for Miles, the players start expecting them to work every time. When the players have that much confidence in the plays they execute them better. I think that's why we are as successful as we are at the trick plays. The players are confident they'll work.

GT's players didn't look comfortable running that crap last night.

When you get beat by 35 points, it makes more sense to look inward than at the meany who just whupped you. Many Tech fans don't understand this. The player across the LOS is trying to demolish you every play. Why would I expect him to let up? The same goes for the opposing coach.

As for our fake punt, it was an play that we should have audibled out of as we didn't have the right personnel on the field for it. That's why the ball went to a DE. Beside that, it was the wrong place to even call it. 21-3 was not insurmountable, and we were beginning to slow LSU's O by that time. The play should never have even beenn on the table to begin with.

I didn't like the fake point at all. It doesn't really change my opinion on anything I just think it was unnecessary.
