What could possibly be the reason for our lack of performance on season openers? Is it lack of preparation? People not taking it seriously? Year after year it baffles me we can't win a season opener and I want it to change.

we were bad in 2020 and 2021

we went 11-12 Opener or not.

FSU was pretty good in 2022. We also had a team that had a ton of new faces and we lost because we had a FG and a point after blocked.

2023 FSU was really good. Our Defense was really bad and Daniels turned the corner week 2.

Hard to say this year. I feel like we will be better on offense than what we saw. New QB, New WRs, New OC.

It’s frustrating that we need a tune up game, but damn you have to think we’d have a better record the last 3 years vs these teams with a tune up game.

reason?

Head Coach Brian Kelly.

End of discussion.

FL St. in the dome was 2 missed FG away from winning after sleepwalking through the first half.....(thats on the coach)

FL St. in FL was bad defense and conservative play calling.

This year was similar, except Defense played well enough to win. Conservative play calling (coaching) cost LSU this game.
