Does LSU have the deep pockets to keep up with USC, UT, etc. year in and year out? I would think talent level that LSU has always had might drop off. Are we starting to see it now?

It's not about paying players or NIL. LSU can compete with anyone in that department.

It's about paying the RIGHT players....'

It's like hiring people, there is a skill to putting TEAMS together.

LSU does not have the NIL money to compete with the big boys. LSU has Canes and a Lawyer carrying most of the load..thats it.

LSU has deep pockets, but does an uptick in NIL funds come at a loss in money for capital projects funding?

Texas has more money, but you have to be smart about how you’re spending it.

You better make sure you are spending on the right guys.

How much was paid to Gilbert? Not sure that was a good investment.

Ah like Saban said this weekend, if you don’t pay the right player you’re shite out of luck.

I’ve been watching LSU for a long time. I’ve seen good and bad. I don’t know that this is the most talented team I’ve seen. That said, Nuss looked really good. I think he’s legit.

My point is maybe NIL is eating into LSU’s talent draw.

Correct! Forced to play guys because you paid them.

How foolish it would be to play guys just on scholarship, and have most your NIL investment on the bench?

Your credibility with the machine would be questionable.

jonah williams and Dak. Moore are not the right players? I would def. argue that.

Haha no not really, we’re out gunned there against some of the other blue blood programs.
