Boomer is a troll to an extent. He also hates LSU.

Also, if you’re the 3rd best DB coach, you wouldn’t be at Air Force.

I mean not to shite on one of our own, but he hasn’t been that good of a DB coach in some time. He could/can recruit for sure.

He wants a higher ranking then he better earn it.

Toth has been highly successful, as he coached Trey Taylor to first-team All-American honors, as well as the becoming the 2023 Jim Thorpe Award winner. The defensive unit as a whole has ranked in the nation’s top six both years. Toth helped the defensive unit to a national title in total defense with a 254.4 average in 2022. The defense also ranked second in passing defense (159.1), third in scoring defense (13.4) and sixth in rushing defense (95.3). The 13.4 points per game average is the sixth best in program history and best since 1997.

Sure about that?

Toth spent five years at Fresno State, the first four as defensive coordinator while also coaching inside linebackers. His defense earned 17 All-Mountain West selections and one 2012 unanimous All-American in safety Phillip Thomas. Thomas was a finalist for the Jim Thorpe Award, won the CFPA Defensive Back Trophy and was the Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year after leading the nation with eight interceptions.

In his first season in College Station, Toth oversaw the development of linebacker Von Miller, who captured the prestigious Butkus Award during an All-America campaign in 2010.

Big Game Boomer is just a dumbass on the Internet that makes lists for clicks. There is no research or real thought on what is posted.

How many times does it have to be said big game boomer is nothing more than an Ou fan troll account. Not a legit “poll”. Guy just makes list because he knows lists get interaction and builds a following. It’s smart on his part for that reason but idiots feed into it acting like it’s the AP poll.

So the question still stands as to why the hell is he still or only at Air Force if his resume is that good? This doesn’t make sense.

I do not see Chevis at Miami.

These lists are subjective. If Chevis was top 10, SOME would be crying like a bitch.

Remember that we’ve got way better coaching all around and that Raymond did pretty damn well @ LSU.

Everyone calm down on a sooner list.

Yes, this tweeter is a known troll.

But Raymond is an a+ recruiter and a c- on the field coach. It's always been that way. That's why there was hesitancy to bring him back. If he was a+ in both positions, he wouldn't have sucked at Florida and they wouldn't have given him a "prove it" contract when he got back here.

You realize that’s just from some random Twitter user, right? That guy’s rankings often make no sense and are based on nothing.

hell before he left here word on the street was that he was steering some players to other schools. Don't know if that was just rumor or not, but he wasn't great his last few years here in coaching or recruiting, and definitely not at Florida. He can regain his popularity with a good season this year though, given that we have somewhat of suspect backs.

agreed....sounds like a few players made him......sometimes it is the players, not the coaching. Hallman comes to mind, when he had Favre....ha.

Yep, his performance in Florida does not help his cause at all. Now maybe he's been humbled and being back home energizes him and gets him back up to where Mascona thinks he is.

Big Game Boomer? Hack. This dude hasn't revealed who he really is. What are his qualifications? How does he know how good Phil Parker is vs Nick Monroe? And Raymond wasn't on his list at all last year, so technically he's moving up.

His 2023 DL post had Kevin Peoples 1 and Bo Davis 2. Peoples isn't on the list this year. Bo was 1. How could you have someone at 1 and then not make the list the next year? Hack.
