guitar player newbie question about a song

been playing about seven months, feel like i'm making decent progress. totally sefl / youtube taught, so a lot of stuff i just kind of have to figure out in my own way. lately been working on F and Bm barre chords, so i found a song with both so i can practice. plus it's a song i just like a lot and i know it well enough that i can sing along with much effort. however, i'm having trouble picking up the strumming on it for some reason, i think maybe it's just faster than most of the stuff i've been playing.
song is Brooklyn Kid by Ragweed
i think it's 3/4 time with D DU DU?
sorry i know this is probably a super easy one for actual guitar players...but any help is appreciated.

4/4 kinda up tempo. Looks like capo on 2. D chord shape works through Bm, C, and back to D. There more but you can figure it out. Play along
