I didn’t realize that JD5’s OC is Kliff Kingsbury

Kliff may suck as a HC but he’s a good offensive mind.
OC for Johnny Manziel’s Heisman
Mahomes HC at TT
Kyler Murray’s HC at ARI

Haven’t been paying attention to the commanders training camp, but I’m looking forward to seeing him start week 1 against TB. It’s gotta be good for him to have a guy like Mariota as a mentor too.

quote:

QB Marcus Mariota on how much QB Jayden Daniels picks his brain throughout the day:

"Plenty, and that's what's really been cool for me to have that dialogue. Because I think when you have a guy that's willing to learn that wants to absorb as much knowledge as he can, I think that really makes the whole room better. For Jayden, he's a young guy, but, you know, we got to do it as a part of our group. We have to kind of create these scenarios and these experiences for him that way when he gets into the game, it's not something that's brand new. I think he's done a great job asking questions and we can also always just kind of keep bringing him along."

What’s the topic? Kliff? He’s a douche bag. No different than Lincoln Riley. Fly by night douche bags. Sorry I hurt your feeling Mrs. Kingsbury.

Any thoughts on his coaching abilities or experience with talented QBs?

I think he does a really good job making the reads and plays easy and connected so guys have a smaller learning curve to success, but I think he’s overrated as an innovative play caller. I think Kyler and the cards were a bit frustrated with the lack of development after a few seasons, he really is a system over player type of coach

So I think he’s a great fit for Jayden getting a quick start to his career, but ultimately I think he’ll need a better development and schemer as a play call to take that next leap as a QB

People just spit out names and if you coached a good/great one you are automatically a God. Who coached Wilt Chamberlin? Who coached Michael Jordan? Who coached Willie Mays? Who coached Dan Marino? Were those guys good/great or did the coach make them great? Mahomes may be the best of all time at the end. Manziel didn’t attend meetings, hardly did team activities and they just snapped it and he took over. He admitted. Mayfield was under him and left the team at TT. I’m sure he can coach, but I’m not sure he is better than anyone else in pro football as a coach.

He’s no longer that great of an offensive mind.

There are plenty of better play callers and offensive minds than him.

Well… MJ played in the league for 6 years before Phil Jackson showed up and never won a title until Phil became his head coach and he promptly won 6.

Shaq and Kobe played together 3 years and never made it past the 2nd round of the playoffs until Phil Jackson showed up and they promptly won 3.

Phil was special as a coach. That is undisputed. Great Coaches can, and do, make a difference.

Both of them excelled because of their God given ability. Mahomes specifically fell in the draft because of questions about his footwork and mechanics, stuff Kingsbury was in charge of improving.

Yes they can, but Kliff ain’t Phil Jackson. How much credit you gonna give ole Andy Reid for Mahomes? Or was it all Kliff?

Good thing Chicago picked Mitchell Trubisky instead bc of his mechanics

You can get JD5 for rookie of the year at +650. That's worth throwing a few dollars at

Jaden will do well with or without Kingsbury. He is already using the same VR training system he used at LSU last season. That probably won him a Heisman.

Thanks for posting. I did not know that.

I hope JD has someone else's brain to pick besides Marcus Mariota.

Video Game Kyler should have looked in the mirror a little bit on this one.
