Well run defense, because that's typically the easiest thing to defend for any defense, unless it's the triple option. Regardless of how good you are, you'll always have trouble with great QBs and spread offenses.
Defense under Saban and Muschamp was stronger against the run for the above reasons. However, we weren't weak against the pass because both are incredible at preparing DBs for the next level.
For 2005 and 2006, I'd say we were stronger against the run. For 2007, I'm actually going to go with pass defense. When Glenn got hurt, our front started to slack off. We had some bonehead mistakes that nearly cost us games from the front of the defense as well. Sanders, Highsmith, and Beckwith also lacked at times last year, which Jackson/Zenon/Steltz/Taylor were turnover forcing machines.
