I'm more pumped about the All American Bowls then the Peach Bowl with LSU and Georgia Tech. The All American Bowls serve more of purpose then the college bowls sadly.

Will changes his mind between now and Saturday, I hope he picks LSU.
Maybe he did change his mind, nah couldn't be huh considering how great of a program UM has become. I do remember him saying he wanted to win a NC wherever he went and from of the looks of it if he goes to UM that won't be happening for a while if ever in his career.

there is already an article from his mom refuting the info here. She said that he was going through some personal issues (it seemed like with his mom) and said that he had eliminated UM because of it. His mom assured that UM is still very much in the thick of it. When they asked him about it, he admitted to what momma said.

Sounds to me like the kid was trying to play a game, the Mom stepped in and set him straight.
My guess is the UM poster has been correct the entire time.

Here is the same Mike Farrell....
This is getting more and more bizarre by the day, but Michigan is still a finalist and is considered the favorite by some to land William Campbell, according to Rivals.com's Mike Farrell.
Numerous sources have confirmed that Michigan is still in the picture for Campbell and will be one of the candidates for his pledge on Saturday. One source went as far as saying that he felt Campbell would certainly re-commit to Michigan, noting the big defensive tackle's sense of humor and tendency to joke around.
Campbell's interview certainly didn't seem like a joke, but maybe he really was just messing with everybody to make his announcement more suspenseful. That would make sense since it became public knowledge last week that he is in the University of Michigan's directory, so maybe this was his way of creating more drama. I certainly hope that is the case, and many seem to believe it is and that he will pick Michigan on Saturday.
After everyone had some time to cool down following Campbell's interview, Michigan was still considered the favorite, even though they were supposedly eliminated. There is definitely more to this story, and I hope we get the details after his announcement on Saturday that hopefully results in a commitment to Michigan.
The big fella wanted this whole ordeal to be as BIG as him. So he is throwing everything out there.
He did say if all went well he would be at LSU, BUT also said there is NO clear cut leader? Oh, and eliminated Michigan. He has my attention this Saturday, and thats what he wanted.

It is crazy, but it should be noted that he mentioned LSU several times in an inteview this summer when he was committed to Michigan
So he went from beign committed, to de-committed, to enrolling at Michigan to eliminated?
This makes no sense..
LSU is bigger player in this and has been for a while, based on the reports we have recrieved from Chris Davenport.
Campbell also knows Barksdale, and Miles is a Michigan alumni, so, I don't know, but LSU fans have their hopes pretty high.
If this is joke, it would be a bad one
I think he wants attention sure, but the splash is eliminated Michigan...so now is the big story.
He could have announced he eliminated LSU or Miami or Florida

This is why I try not to follow recruiting. I stopped when Joe McKnight pulled his bullshite over LSU. Pick a school and go there. No need to manufacture drama or "disrespect" another school while making your decision.

They shouldn't. Everthing has pointed to michigan execpt for one interview and even it has been revisited.

Sounds like Mcfarland all over again.
How did that turn out for Texas, the favorite all along.. Momma favorite all along!
LSU on Saturday!

I agree with all of what you said Apex. The guy wanted our attention and got it.
If LSU is where he is bound instead of Ann Arbor, yeah it will hurt, But not as bad as one of those Florida schools. I pull for the Tigers and ONLY the Tigers in the SEC, Because of your "Damn Strong Football Coach", and Michigan Man.
I'll trade you Big Willie for Russell Shepard?

Wow, it would be awesome to pull in the #1 player in Michigan again.
fixed
I love it when people try to fix things and they are wrong.
Barksdale was the #3 player in Michigan
so rivals is the only place who determines who the #1 player in the state is?

All the reports we read about Mcfarlands mom and Texas are true! She wanted Texas! Loves it!
did love it at least...
She got mad at Texas because the backed off, but I think they were just trying not to be pushy, they took it the wrong way.
who knows, who cares
I want Big Will!
