Stock dividends

Currently I have stocks that pay me dividends which I’m just reinvesting for now. I plan on retiring in about 10 to 12 years. Would it be smart to use those dividends as part of my income after retirement? I will have other revenues after retirement (social security, 401k, state pension):

Not enough information.

You would need to review your expenses and other income to decide if it's better to keep reinvesting or start cashing in.

I though in LA you could collect both but SS is severely penalized?
