Did one of the teams just pick a Sub to play in sudden death? Individual playoff is first.

This is the 3rd tournament in a row that Catlin has played for Crushers & he is playing well. Charles Howell III has been out for awhile

ETA: Crushers chose Casey not Catlin

Puig/Ancer & Bryson/Casey on 1st team playoff hole.

They’re playing 18 right behind Sergio/Lahiri

Lahiri can’t stay out of the trees off the tee. Ancer has a putt to win for Fireballs.

Spanish team wins the playoff at LIV Spain just like the Aussie team won in Adelaide.

Sergio still going for individual win on 2nd playoff hole

Just noticed I haven’t heard any music at all during the playoff

I think they've been cutting the music off every Sunday on the 18th hole.

Re LIV broadcasts - Su Ann Heng is the worst on course commentator in the history of golf. She makes Notah Begay's comments seem insightful.

Not sure what that says for the "Big Guns" if a 44 year old Sergio wins a tournament...

Alabam Lahiri is a talented, but he continues to collapse and choke anytime he sniffs the top of the leaderboard. He’s been doing it for years.

Mickelson was almost 51 when he won his last major.

I think this was also the 4th tournament Sergio has won at this golf course. Also lost to Ian Poulter in a playoff in 2004.

It’s possible that he’s just very familiar with the course & plays well there.

Sergio is no Mickelson talent wise IMO.

Seems like a lot of the 2nd tier guys are winning on LIV.

Not really.
Sergio & Steele are the only real outliers so far this year. Obviously Sergio had an advantage with his experience playing at Valderrama.

He’s been playing well too.
2 runner-up playoff finishes on LIV this year & just finished T12 at US Open.

Basically every signature event has been won by Scottie Scheffler so

Hideki and Wyndham Clark were the other winners.

He also just missed qualifying for the Open.

Sergio’s been working his arse off the last few months.

Why are you limiting it to signature events?

No need to answer. I know why
