LINK

Tried to post pic but the best I could do was link to pic.

Over the past 10 days this patch had been getting worse. We've had plenty of rain and sunshine....

Sod was put down in May 2023. The rest of the yard is gorgeous but apparently I've got something going on?? Made it though last year's drought and the winter just fine. In the spring it was very healthy.

Located in Carencro

Any advice or thoughts are appreciated

Chinch bugs. Chinch bug and drought damage look similar. If you are getting enough rain/irrigation then that should rule out drought.

Thanks Ronk. Anything particular to treat with?

ETA... Just looked up what a chinch bug looks like, went outside on the side of the house and bingo..... There's a few crawling around on the white bricks.
