Does the federal government have a say in breaking up Monopolies like Google?

Like, we all know deep down Google has gotten worse as a search engine. The justice department sued Google but the case was dropped last month.

What do you make of the case and what role does the government have in regulating these tech companies?

Legally speaking, yes. Practically speaking, no, because Google plays ball with the deep state. They aren't going to kill off one of their most valuable tools.
