This guy just decommitted from Texas. Do we have a dog in this fight? We just brought in his teammate as a LB and that running back pedigree has been legit through the years out of aledo

Nothing pops up on a recent visit or offer for Guillory.
Reads more like Texas encouraged the young man to decommit.

Seems that way for a 2026 guy to decommit this early, but it's a long time until then so I don't know why you would encourage that this early. The other thing, and I don't know if they just haven't updated his numbers yet, but they have him at 165 pounds right now. Even for a WR that's damn skinny
However, Guillory is the No. 13 back in the 2026 class, but the No. 1, 5, 6, 7, and 10 backs are all from Texas as well, with the Longhorns leading for 3 of those in RPM (although only one, No. 7 Tradarian Bell, actually has predictions so it's just the algorithm for the others).
Seems like LSU will have to stick their nose in Texas again for a RB in 26 seeing as Ke'Rynn Smith at No. 32 is the top Louisiana back

Like the above post said. 7 or 8 of the top 30 RBs are from Texas. We’ll see what happens in state, maybe a solid 4 star emerges. But, we’ll most likely slide over the border for one of them.
