Looking at the African WCQ, they are currently sitting in 5th in group C after round 4 of 10. They have 3 points in 4 games and are behind the likes of Rwanda, South Africa, Benin and Lesotho. And looking at the players they have compared to the competition they should be running away with this group

Maybe the money from the prince hasn't arrived yet.

They are missing almost all their best defensive players. They had to play a right back at left back and a center back at right back. They have some talent but honestly they are facing teams in their group that seem pretty organized.
Now they have to win their next 6 games

You would think the talent gap between them and countries like Lesotho, Zimbabwe and Benin would be enough to overcome any injury crisis they may have,
For example these are names in the last XI: Moffi (Nice), Chukwueze, Iwobi, Lookman, Ndidi, and Bassey. Then you also had players from Fenerbache, West Brom and Brugge.
Even going back in their results to the fall they were still underperforming. Just strange

Yeah you’d think they would be okay

Africa is super deep, even tiny countries without any big names compete
