Has anyone taken a lesson with Rob Murphy in Zachary? If so, what are your takeaways/was it worth it?

I used to get lessons with Parker Brandt and really enjoyed it but he’s since moved elsewhere.

One of my golfing buddies takes lessons from Rob. His index slowing going up.

I take lessons from Burkey. My index is slowing going down.

Coincidence? I dunno....maybe....but that's all I got for ya.

Myself, and kids all go there. Have enjoyed it thoroughly. 2 kids in tournament golf and I have have moved into single digit handicap for the first time ever.

With anything when you make changes sometimes it gets worse before it gets better. But he has treated us very well. And we have gotten good value for the money

Does he just give lessons on the range by watching or does he have a launch monitor, Trackman, etc?

Why not give Nathan Jeansonne a shot?

His lessons are indoors on a simulator with a trackman. Had my son go to a few lessons with him. Think he did a great job considering my son was a beginner. He tapes all the drills and they are all emailed to you throughout the session.

Rob is a good teacher. I would say he is more geared towards mid to high handicappers. He is great at teaching the fundamentals of the swing, however, if you are say a 5 HCP, i don’t think he is going to help you take the leap to getting close to scratch.
