Might be a stretch but if Tigers pull it off tn, could he give us a couple innings on short rest? He had 9 days of rest before he started Friday.

Feel like jump, herring, Holman are done regardless of what happens. Time for guys to step up. Herring shut Wofford down.

Landon Marceau did it in this exact same situation back in the Oregon regional.

He CAN give you an inning, especially if he usually has a Monday bullpen day. But they won’t do it unless they absolutely have to.

Don’t really think it’s Jay’s MO. Wouldn’t do it with Skenes last year. Have to look out for the kid as well. Jump is going to be a fairly high draft pick and has had arm issues in the past. Rest of the staff just has to step up.

Not ideal but I would have to think if you can force a game tomorrow then just about everyone would be available for an inning if needed

Skenes was going to pitch game 3 against Florida if needed.
Jump will close the game if necessary

I think there is a path for him to throw 15-20 pitches if needed.
