Dog piss spots in the yard

Is there a legitimate cure besides spraying it down with the hose right after they piss?

Train dog to piss in one area and live with it. No products work in my experience.

The best solution is to try different brands of dog food. I had this problem with a few of my past pets. We tried different brands of dog food and found a few that eliminated the problem.

Well my wife's dog is fully retarded so that isn't always an option. The fricker will piss on the patio if that's where he happens to be standing when he needs to pee.
