I think all of you calling everyone stupid are stupid. There’s nothing wrong with Jump coming into the game in the 8th/9th inning of the championship game on 4 full days of rest to preserve a lead and basically throw the scheduled bullpen he’d throw anyway. Holman will start Friday and Jump will have another 5 days rest after throwing a measly 20-30 pitches. He’s not going to be tired for the regional or have any ill effect b/c he threw 25 pitches on 4 days rest.
