Type 1 Diabetic here. One thing I think most Diabetics do is take in way too much sugar to address hypoglycemia. Facts are quick sugar still needs some time to work it’s magic, meaning if I take a gulp of Gatorade that takes five minutes to make me feel better then I should just patiently wait the five minutes. What most do is continue eating sugar for those five minutes until they feel better and they create the opposite reaction moving from hypo to hyperglycemia because they took in too much sugar. Facts are the gulp of Gatorade was probably all they needed.
