Pitching tomorrow, I would save Holman for Thursday to give him extra day rest

I don't think it happens, but it isn't out of the realm of possibility. I think LSU has secured a bid now, and they don't have the arms to get through Hoover. Much easier to win a regional or super.

I'm thinking maybe Hurd since he may have positive mojo remembering his performance last post season. I will add, with a very short leash.

I think Jay is playing for the long haul now that we’ve won this game. Won’t be surprised if it’s Dutton opening it up and then go from there. Holman starts Thursday is my guess.

Thursday's game might not be against a team as good as Kentucky from a resume perspective. If Holman is good to go, he should pitch.

I agree but I don't feel strongly either way. We've locked in a bid now but since we would potentially play USC in game 3 I could see why winning that game would matter more than kentucky if we were still on the bubble.
Can't go wrong with using Holman or saving him another day in my opinion

If you win Wednesday that would not only ensure without a doubt they are in but could move them to a closer regional. Win Thursday and get a day off to play Saturday in the semis. Say we don’t have the arms but if the hitting continues and we can get guys to pitch like last year, we can make a run.
Win the tourney and now you’re in the discussion…. May not happen but there’s an honest discussion about hosting. Call me crazy downvote away but play to win.

We do need to see what version of Hurd we have moving forward in the NCAAT so he needs to start tomorrow or Thursday.
