I'd be embarrassed to place 2nd.
Track and Field is one of sport's greatest disparities between men and women athletes.
Case in point...I've said this before...I was a decent sprinter in high school. Made the State finals in 100m and 200m. Maybe top 15 or so in the state, this in the biggest classification (3A) at the time. This was against the big city boys, etc. However, I never even sniffed any type of college scholarship or anything to run on the collegiate level.
My times? You ask? I would have beaten the World record in both 100m and 200m in women.
World record, not just won in high school
