What evidence....what action? Is there potential for humans to cause a global pandemic that decimates our population.....yes. Can mother nature do that all on its own....yes and has done so repeditdly throughout time. And what action are you personally going to take...go and personally investigate every lab in every university, every private lab, every farm, every slaughter house to see what they are up to? Good luck!

Potential? It's a reality. I don't know about "decimate," but last I checked the furin cleavage site experiment conducted by Ralph Baric and Shi Zhengli and colleagues, along with the deadly medical countermeasures taken, has killed somewhere around 20+ million, though nobody honest is keeping public health stats so the real number is a mystery. As for bird flu, the closest we've come to a human to human version occurred in Ron Fouchier's lab in 2013.
Wake up son. Nature isn't the main threat. Stupid arrogant, if not malicious, men are. Have we learned nothing? Did all those people die for nothing? Are we really this stupid?
