I’m not catholic and nothing he said bothered or offended me at all. I thought it was a pretty good speech.
I think having a family and mother’s being involved is vital to family stability. That’s not to say women can’t maintain a professional career, but for both parents, the most important thing should be your family (and not
your career).
I generally disagree with abortion wholeheartedly. I guess very rare exceptions may exist, but they are indeed rare in the big picture.
Surrogacy and IVF always seemed…i don’t know….icky or wrong to me. You’re entering into a business transaction to harvest eggs and sperm, fertilize them, then you’re picking and choosing which embryo is best and utilize. What happens to other embryos? Are the discarded? Donated? I don’t know. It just seems … off.
. Surrogacy, well, you’re entering into a business transaction with a third-party to carry the embryo. Again, something about it rubs me the wrong way.
The intentions are good, but it seems contrary to human morals and ethics.
