I haven't carried a wood other than driver in my bag in 15-20 years. After hitting my buddy's Cobra Radspeed 3 perfect off the T-box a few times when needing something shorter than driver, I decided I wanted to add a 3 to my bag. I went on ebay looking for the radspeed and you can get them for cheap brand new. While looking, a like new Aerojet with Ail'li or however you spell it stiff shaft popped up and I ended up getting it for 123.00 shipped to my door. I would suggest eBay if you don't want to spend a ton and they have reputable stores on there you can buy from. The key to getting a good deal is to like or watch whatever you are interested in. After a day or so of sitting in your watching section, some of these places will send you a discount offer to buy it. They were asking a good bit more for the aerojet than what I actually paid for it.

Went and hit the Aerojet last week for the first time and really liked it. Have to get used to hitting a wood off the deck though. I havent done that in a long long time.

I am also looking for a new 3 fairway wood. Narrowed it down to TM I10, Ping 430, TSR2 fairway, or the Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke. Looking for accuracy first. Any thoughts?
Plan on going to hit a few soon.

I have the TM Stealth 2 Plus 3 wood and love it. I’ve had Titleist woods and this feels so much better. Great ball speed and accuracy.

I’ve heard great things about the Ping woods.

There are no bad fairway woods these days.

It's just a matter of preference and what fits your eye.

Seeing so much hype about people putting 7woods in their bags. Interesting.

I carry the Callaway Heavenwood.

20 degrees of loft and 4 wood length.

So easy to hit.

My Ping G430 5-iron gets me 185-200 depending on my swing and other conditions, but I don't hit it flush consistently enough so I swap it in/out of my bag often

Callaway Rogue ST Max OS 24º Hybrid gets me about 175-185, or depending on wind I am consistent enough to alter my swing some to use it anywhere from about 160-190.

Callaway Epic Max LS 20º Heaven Wood gets me 190-205. Similar to my hybrid depending on the shot needed & wind I can adjust my swing to use it 180-210, even getting up to 225+ with roll on hard ground several times.

Callaway Epic Speed 3W 15º gets me anywhere from 170-230 lol, I struggle hitting it consistently just like I struggle with my 5-iron. So if its a round that I'm tracking score then anywhere from 170-200+ I'm usually sticking between 24º hybrid or 20º HVN Wood to just get me where I want in the fairway to set up next shot better. If it's just a round with buddies I may use that as more of practice round and swing the 3W and 5-iron to work on them
